Program Manager

KBR is seeking a dedicated, mission oriented, and experienced program manager to lead a large, complex technical program in our Space, Missile, and Aviation Systems operating group.


  • Accountable for overall program budget, schedules, and deliverables; has primary responsibility for program growth and P&L
  • Establishes and maintains a consistent and robust program operating rhythm
  • Collaborates with leadership and customers to discuss initiatives, risks and mitigations, and resolve issues
  • Responsible for providing timely and accurate program and financial status reporting, including preparation and delivery of briefings for formal interchanges with customer management
  • Developing staffing plans and managing the utilization of resources to meet customer schedules and requirements.


Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with an advanced degree in engineering or business preferred. A minimum of 10 years program related experience in related areas with at least 5 years functional or program management experience. PMP certification and Six-Sigma Green Belt Certification desired.


  • Thorough understanding of business operations and management including finance, contracting, human resources, strategic planning, and business development
  • Understanding of US military command structures
  • Demonstrates the ability to build strong customer and team relationships
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to determine solutions and strategies, and to identify associated risks and mitigation actions
  • Experience with defining and addressing technical/contract requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse customers and teams
  • Must be comfortable working in a very dynamic, fluid environment
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Willing to travel (10-15%) CONUS/OCONUS

Must be a US Citizen and hold an active Secret clearance; Top Secret clearance preferred.
