Administrative Specialist

KBR is seeking a dedicated, mission oriented, and experienced Administrative Assistant to support the program management office and/or functional teams of a large, complex technical program in our Space, Missile, and Aviation Systems operating group.

This position will be located in Ft. Walton Beach, FL.


Duties include general clerical, receptionist and project-based work

Coordinates meeting schedules, makes travel arrangements, prepares and submits expense reports

Prepares status briefings and reports with information provided by functional areas

Facilitates set up for customer meetings; takes meeting minutes

Monitors training records

Assists with numerical, statistical, and/or financial analysis tasks

Assists with timesheet records and charging

Assists with data entry tasks


High school diploma and 6+ years of experience.


  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Applies common sense understanding to accurately execute written or oral instructions and procedures
  • Able to determine best methods for achieving results with general guidance
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse customers and team members
  • Must be comfortable working in a very dynamic, fluid environment
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, Visio
  • Experience with Deltek Time & Expense desired

Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a US security clearance.
