ManTech is seeking a Watch Officers to support USMC, Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA), Enterprise Coordination Center (ECC).

This position requires an active DOD TS/SCI (or SCI eligible) clearance.

General Responsibilities: 

  • 24/7 support for the USMC, Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA), Enterprise Coordination Center (ECC)

  • Work will be in shifts to include nights, weekends, and 8 or 12 hour workdays with a changing/rotating schedule based on mission needs
  • Provide crisis/time-sensitive intelligence support
  • RFI Management impacting United States Marine Corps (USMC) Operating Forces Worldwide
  • Author and communicate alert products/RFIs to key stakeholders
  • Provide written and oral roll-ups on recent enemy threats to USMC/Allied Forces or recent short term enemy trends
  • Update the Common Intelligence Picture/Common Operating Picture as needed to ensure stakeholders can track respective intelligence items/requests
  • Document, scope, and prioritize time-sensitive RFI requirements from USMC forces sent to the ECC, then properly communicate with leadership using appropriate information, knowledge, and task management applications
  • Upon RFI receipt, leverage existing knowledge, services, applications, and expertise to provide a response (to the maximum extent possible) prior to the customer’s deadline
  • Analyze and process Conference Room reservations in a timely manner in accordance with applicable policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Establish Crisis Pages when warranted and maintain as near real time as possible
  • RFIs will come verbally, over the phone, email, and from external websites/sources then translate/extract additional information and input in USMC tracking systems
  • Other duties as required

Mandatory Skills Requirements: 

  • This position requires an active DoD TS/SCI Clearance
  • Willing to work ‘shifts’ (Potential:  Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Utility team player that can communicate with all command elements and echelons within the USMC to include Government, Military, and Contractor personnel
  • Ability to identify ‘what needs to be done’ and provide Courses of Actions with recommendations including scope, risks, cost, schedule, performance, etc. as needed
  • Update/Create documentation as needed (user guides, admin guides, knowledge base articles, FAQs, quick reference guides)
  • Must be capable of training peers (Civ, Ctr, Mil) with current/new processes and procedures

Other Skills Preferred: 

  • Working knowledge of MCIA’s infrastructure, organization, and mission
  • Knowledge of the Global Force Management of Garrison Intelligence Capability (GFM-GIC) policy
  • Experience with SharePoint:  2013/2016
  • Intelink/IntelShare and available capabilities for use and integration
  • Knowledge of standard DoD and Marine Corps concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Familiarity with Navy/Marine Corps interoperability requirements
  • Scripting experience such as PowerShell, Python, JavaScript
  • Prior experience as a Watch Officer
  • Experience with intelligence Message Traffic
  • Experience with RFI Management Systems such as the MCISRE Knowledge Gateway (MKG) and Coliseum

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
