Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Systems Security Engineer to join our team in McLean, Virginia.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

The Information Systems Security Engineer shall assist Sponsor with various cybersecurity related items to include ATOs, (Accreditation and Authorization) A&As, and (User Activity Monitoring) UAM.  The Contractor shall work closely with the Sponsor across the period of performance to:

  • Support the Sponsor’s cyber security program to include promoting and working with system owners to re-accredit through the assessment and authorization (A&A) process.
  • Develop and promote a cybersecurity awareness program across the Sponsor Organization.
  • Create and implement a continuous A&A testing approach to information and systems security across the Sponsor Organization.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science, computer engineering, information assurance, or other equivalent technical degree.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years establishing Approval to Proceeds, Accreditation and Authorization and User Activity Monitoring.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years developing and implementing a cybersecurity awareness program.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • TS/SCI with polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
