Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide direct supervision and oversight of all contractor personnel for enforcement of safety procedures and regulations which outline the responsibilities and methods for performance of work.
- Safety officer will with the Arsenal Safety Office to include daily safety inspections in all locations.
- Must have completed the 30 hours OSHA general industry class
- At least 5 years military depot or heavy industrial safety experience
- Hold a certification as practitioner from a nationally accredited certification body such as the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, American Board of Industrial Hygiene, or equivalent.

Other Requirements:
- Applicant must be a US Citizen.
- Must be capable of reading, writing and speaking English.
- Required to submit a completed SF85 form.

Qualifications and Other Skills:
- 5 years military depot or heavy industrial safety experience.

- Hold a certification as practitioner from a nationally accredited certification body such as the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, American Board of Industrial Hygiene, or equivalent.
