Security and Production Assistant

ABOUT THIS POSITION: This position is located in the Niceville, FL office of KBR. Candidate must be able to demonstrate the capability to perform Security tasks as well as production quality tasks. These two tasks are further described separately below:

Assistant Security Specialist

Serves as a security assistant for a Department of Defense (DoD) Contract Office. Must be familiar with all areas of Security to include Personnel, Operations, Physical, and Production Security. Will also need to be able to assist and work with Information Security. Job duties will include, but are not limited to the following: assisting with the planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining of a comprehensive security program consistent with all DoD security requirements. Maintain proper security requirements executed under all contracts while implementing government policy and/or policy changes. Assist in maintaining personnel records, personnel clearances and reporting requirements to include foreign travel, foreign contacts, etc. Assist with security education and training, semi-annual self-inspections, document control, visitor access, random inspections, and security database updates. Recommend process tailoring, additional security requirements and/or safeguards in any aspect of security to streamline processes. Provide office technical and programmatic support to ensure contractor personnel are able to execute the overall office mission related to conducting meetings, traveling between organizations, and processing interoffice communication.

Must be familiar with the National Industrial Security Operations Manual (NISPOM), the Overprint to the NISPOMSUP, and DoD 5205.07 Volumes 1-4. Note: Knowledge of the JSIG is a plus but not a requirement.

Production Analyst

Reviews senior briefings and technical documentation and ensures accuracy and quality of communication. Provides office technical support to ensure contractor personnel are able to execute the over-all office mission related to producing quality presentations and reports. Candidate must exhibit working knowledge of government engineering documentation. Required support includes review of presentations and reports. Candidate must be able to coordinate and lead technical data package (TDP) review and audit activities to verify compliance with program contract requirements. Knowledge and experience in interpreting and evaluating government TDP documentation such as engineering specifications, drawings, and associated documentation IAW government and industry standards is required. Candidate must be willing to assume additional responsibilities as needed. Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple tasks, demonstrated communication and organizational skills required.

MS Office and Adobe Pro skills a must, excellent communications skills, both oral and written required.

EXPERIENCE & TRAINING: High School Diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 5 years clerical experience with at least 3 years in a government security environment.

Candidate must have an active secret security clearance.
