Description

SAIC is actively seeking a Configuration Management and Integrated Schedule Analyst with a Top Secret to work onsite with our customer in Colorado Springs, CO.

 

The Configuration Management and Integrated Schedule Analyst will be responsible for assessing the program configuration management (CM) functional compliance, the Program CM Plan, and CM best practices.

 

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Document any findings and provide recommended corrective actions to bring the program into compliance, taking into consideration cost, schedule, and programmatic impacts. 
  • Lead activities based on sound CM and acquisition practices
  • Develop, maintain, and update the program office integrated master plan and schedule IAW DoD Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedule Preparation and Use Guide.
  • Elicit and implement ways to refine the IMS
  • Apply extensive expertise and initiative to solve complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity;
  • Work without appreciable direction and examine desired results from both near- and long-time perspectives. 
  • Advise on potential impact of decisions on major organizational objectives.
  • Advise project leaders and represent the organization as a program contact on significant technical matters.
  • Receive direct supervision and guidance primarily on novel or controversial problems or questions.
  • Make independent technical decisions on details of work. 
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope.


Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of nine (9) years of experience in configuration and related project management with a Bachelor's Degree; or seven (7) years of experience with a Master’s Degree.  Additional years of experience may be considered with an Associate’s Degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Project Management applications, and Integrated Schedule applications
  • Proficiency in DoD project management policies and procedures to include DoD Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedule Preparation and Use Guide
