Primary Responsibilities: EPS is seeking a full time Network Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Configuration, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting of laboratory assets and fielded systems
Requirements
A.A.S., B.S. or B.A. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology,
Additional OS/Operating environment (Microsoft/Linux/Cisco) certifications
Tactical/deployable system experience
Working Conditions: Government/DoD Navy site with 30% travel. Possible off-hours work to support trouble tickets and outages. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there may be some hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within a secure laboratory or tactical environment, with some standard office equipment available.
Desired Skills/Other Considerations
Good customer service and communication skills is necessary to ensure customer satisfaction and network reliability.
Intermediate level of experience in Cisco IOS based routers and switches, ASA 5500-series Adaptive Security Appliances and related technologies, Access Control Lists, Fortinet Firewalls, network automation, Ansible, Virtual Private Networks, VLANs, routing protocols, and IP convergence, Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Call Manager) platform and Call Manager Express.
Advanced level of server experience working with VMware Workstation, ESXI 6.0+, Redhat Linux, Microsoft Server 2012, 2016, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft PowerShell, Network Attached Storage (NAS), McAfee HBSS, ACAS Tenable
Experience and background in use of serial and IP based (HAIPE) DoD encryption systems.
Advanced local and remote problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with servers and Cisco devices are a must.
DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification a must.
DoD SECRET clearance required.
Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
