E-2D NFO Subject Matter Expert (SME)

KBR is seeking a E-2D NFO Subject Matter Expert to support all aspects of life cycle support for E-2D trainer acquisitions at the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) Orlando, FL for the US Navy.

*The selected candidate is expected to assist in developing acquisition documents such as performance specifications, statements of work, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs), and test plans.

*Review contractor deliverables. Attend requirements and design conferences and Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings.

*Liaise with squadron Fleet Project Team (FPT), Fleet Readiness Squadron (FRS) and Airborne Command & Control and Logistics Weapons School (ACCLWS) Instructors.

*Participates in formal delivery testing of devices including Interoperability. Assists In-Service Engineering Office (ISEO) and Systems Integration Lab (SIL) personnel as needed and assist West Coast CI training in IOS functionality and operation after modifications.


A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of eight to ten years of experience. Experience must include E-2 , E-2C, E-2D NFO, and/or Mission Commander experience.

Experience as a Contract Simulator Instructor (CSI), Fleet Readiness Squadron (FRS) Instructor or Weapons Training Unit (WTU) Instructor, is preferred. Experience with operating E-2C or E-2D tactics trainers is a plus.

Must be familiar with trainer deficiencies and requirements.

Must have good verbal and computer skills, specifically adept in Microsoft Office products.

Must have at least an active secret level security clearance. Must be able to obtain a CAC.
