JOB DESCRIPTION:

SAIC is seeking candidates to support United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), including Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) with a focus on survivability, interoperability, reliability, cybersecurity, maintenance, and maintenance upgrades. The successful candidate will be part of the SAIC team, incorporating agile development and operations methodologies and best practices through repeatable agile approach to capabilities assessments and modeling systems in a cost-effective way to explore and document requirements, system characteristics, and capabilities to address reliability, maintainability, quality, supportability, interoperability, and both organizational and technical requirements.

The candidate for this position provides technical analysis and capabilities solutions to a wide range of difficult problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors through imaginative, thorough, and practicable solutions, consistent with organization objectives.

Software Engineer II:

• Supports software prototyping efforts, to include both COTS and GOTS, including verification and validation; provides software requirements generation and analysis, to include rationalization of baseline, generation of software, and performance effectiveness measures and criteria; leads software-related market research activities; and provides software oversight on modeling efforts for both use cases in UML and systems in SysML.

• Expertise in software prototyping to include both COTS and GOTS including verification and validation; software requirements generation and analysis to include rationalization of baseline, generation of software and performance effectiveness measures and criteria; software related market research activities.

• Experience in documenting technical assessments and recommendations

• Experience with ISPAN family of Software design and requirements generation a plus

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and seven (3) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (1) years or more experience.
