ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all aspects of food service for migrant workers
Plan meals Monday to Sunday for about 200 employees
Work directly with migrant camp supervisor
Ensure cleanliness of food preparation
Follow state health department regulations pertaining to food safe practices
Check in all food/supply orders
Prepared all meals on time as scheduled or assigned by the migrant camp supervisor
Keep kitchen and cafeteria clean
All other duties as assigned
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Meet physical requirements to perform all duties safely
Meet the communication requirements to perform all duties
Must learn and follow safe working practices
Must learn and follow good manufacturing practices
Must learn and follow blood borne pathogens control and practices
Must learn and follow allergen control and practices
Must work well with others
Must have reliable/consistent attendance and attention to duties
Must work accurately with minimal supervision
Must be able to work 12 hours per day
Work is seasonal lasting 6 months
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED/equivalent is preferred/ Previous cook experience
