Sr. Material Handler/Expeditor

Responsibilities :

• Collection and transportation of all certification paperwork and documentation that corresponds with the hardware transporting both internal and external
• Expedite receipt and / or delivery of critical hardware
• Attend hardware and schedule status meetings three times weekly at 8:00 AM (30 min) either on site or via telecom.
• Attend other hardware related schedule or status meetings as required.
• Work with outside vendors to create/establish production and delivery schedules.
• Plan, coordinate and negotiate expedited scheduling to condense sub vendors quoted lead times
• Provide a daily hardware status written or verbal communication status of all detailed hardware, assemblies, and subassemblies to Client.
• Communicate daily on-time delivery and receipt of assigned detailed hardware and sub-assembly hardware for suppliers within Phoenix Metropolitan area.Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years related experience.
• Aerospace and Manufacturing / Materials Processing experience strongly preferred
• Administration and expediting of hardware including special physical handling requirements and training of extremely fragile hardware experience preferred
• Ability to quickly identify and address critical issues of complex program and coordinate with sub vendors to develop action plan to improve performance
• U.S. Citizenship Status required due to client requirement.
