ManTech is seeking a Network Administrator to join our growing team supporting MARORPAC at Camp H. M. Smith, Hawaii.

This position requires an active DoD TS/SCI (or SCI eligible) clearance.

Work location: MARFORPAC G2, Bldg. 80, 80 Lumus Road, Camp H. M. Smith, HI

General Responsibilities:

  • Support, manage, maintain, train, and administer the Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) network equipment and services with focus on the Tactical Point of Presence (PoP) equipment, and Tier 1 Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP)/Video Teleconferencing (VTC) equipment and services
  • Enterprise level network maintenance on physical and virtual servers, workstations, switches, routers, firewalls, etc.
  • Manage Active Directory users (create, manage, update, move, etc), password reset, create/move users, create/update folder permissions, and mailbox maintenance
  • Pre-deployment support to units preparing to use the equipment in a tactical scenario
  • Daily duties include maintaining oversight on all local SCI network, PoP, VOIP, VTC assets, identify conflicts/issues, and present to leadership for priority assignment and direction when necessary
  • Manage, Troubleshoot, Repair, Maintain, Train, STIG, and Patch Room and Desktop VTC equipment
  • Manage Room and Desktop VTC schedules for multiple sites, de-conflicting where necessary and reassigning resources as needed
  • Serve as principal onsite representative supporting initial Tier 1 Voice and VTC installation
  • As needed, work with vendors to facilitate replacement parts or new coding to correct issues with the Room and Desktop VTC Suites
  • Provide new join and pre-deployment training to Marines and civilians on related equipment
  • Occasional travel may be required to provide installation, training or other equivalent services to support local Marine Corps training.  Travel to Quantico, Virginia may be required to attend conferences or equipment/services training.

Mandatory Skills Requirements:

  • TS/SCI clearance is required
  • Must have DOD 8570 requirements for IAT Level II
  • Must be able to interact with, extract, and translate customer requirements into working solutions
  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies to include, Hyper V, and DFS
  • Tier II phone support of reported customer incidents supporting network connections, conference room video systems, and VoIP phones
  • Provide End User support, to include in-room and external network support with graphical user interface access and operability; troubleshooting, scheduling and administering video teleconferences
  • Provide maintenance, to include powering on devices, inspecting/connecting cabling, confirming system availability
  • Conduct integration and configuration of existing VTC hardware, including application of security controls; operations and management support to the network infrastructure that underlies the VTC platform
  • Patch and firmware upgrades, break/fix support and daily operations and management support, including onsite assistance for special events
  • Remote and on-site support of preventive maintenance checks and services
  • Coordinate and implement scheduling, recording and teleconferencing sessions as required
  • Resolve scheduling and technical conflicts when they arise
  • Documentation and reporting of all associated maintenance activities
  • Develop and provide training to end users on the various systems in use when not supporting meetings
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
  • Availability to travel to local and CONUS/OCONUS sites
  • Previous experience supporting a Government and/or Department of Defense customer
  • Troubleshoot, repair, reimage SCI workstations
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

  • Cisco Certified Networking Associate
  • SCCM experience
  • Microsoft Windows Server certification
  • Experience with Cisco Telepresence Management Server/Suite
  • Experience with Cisco Prime Collaboration Provisioning (PCP)
  • Experience with Cisco Expressway Series
  • Experience with Cisco Meeting Server (CMS)
  • Experience using Cisco Telepresence Room Based Endpoint
  • Familiarity with DOD/IC Voice/Video technologies and integration methods
  • Previous experience supporting a Government and/or Department of Defense customer
  • Prior experience with military information technology or intelligence community
