AECOM - Federal Construction Services is needing a Quality Control Supervisor with NAVFAC experience for the Corpus Christi Project - Phase 2,
Supervises the monitoring and evaluation process to ensure that AECOM quality management systems are being followed and evidence is recorded and maintained.
Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies.
Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.
Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends.
Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
May have budget responsibilities.
Manages the coordination of activities of a group or department with responsibility for results.
In some instances, may be responsible for functional area and may not have direct reports.
Responsible for quality and production on the project.
Ensure company and customer requirements are met.
Enforce AECOM’s Safety Program and APP.
Assist in Project Schedule development and updates.
Perform field inspections to ensures work installed per all contract documents.
Approval by Contracting Officer required.
Develop and site utilization plan.
Complete Daily Reports.
Assist in pencil copy reviews.
Attend and participate in meetings with NAVFAC, QC, Safety and Subcontractors.
Experienced in building turning-over.
Experienced in implementing Commissioning Plan.
BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or AA/AS (US) + 8 years of relevant experience or Diploma/Certificate (Canada) + 8 years of relevant experience or HS/GED + 10 years of relevant experience.
Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors certification.
Experience with the requirements of USACE EM-385-1-1.
Proficient with Microsoft Products (Word and Excel).
Experience supervising NAFVAC Project.
Minimum 10 years demonstrated experience as a Quality Control Manager.
Federal construction experience.
