Desktop Support Technician job summary:
We are seeking for an experience and energetic Desktop Support Technician who can provide technical support to various type of end-users and get involve in various projects. The successful candidate will work with our customer's technical team consisting of service desk, senior desktop support analyst and network administrator to achieve the highest level of customer service.

Desktop Support Technician responsibilities:

-Perform move, add, change and disposition services for desktops, workstations, notebooks and printers.
-Set up new and existing users with computers and necessary peripheral devices.
-Inspect and test computer hardware (HDD, mouse, keyboards etc.) to ensure full functionality.
-Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
-Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
-Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
-Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work.
-Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network connectivity problems.
-Regularly update Ticket system to ensure it contain most up to date information.
-Maintain records/logs of repairs, fixes and maintenance schedule.
-Respond to tickets escalated by management and service desk in accordance to proper procedures and SLA.
-Performed other projects such asset inventory, organizing IT room, etc.

Desktop Support Technician Required skills and certifications:
-Mandatory: CAC (Common Access Card) credential
-Mandatory: At least 1 CompTIA certification: A+ certification or Network+ or Security+
-Excellent customer skills and possess a positive personality
-Speak and write English clearly
-Desktop Support Technician schedule and salary rate:

Monday â?? Friday / 7:30 am â?? 4:30 pm (9 hours per day - includes 1-hour non-paid break)
3 months (may be longer)
Salary rate = $35.00/hr
Job Type: Contract
