Qualifications:

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and under 35 years of age at the time of application and the date of posting of the Final Eligibility Register unless exempt from such age limitation as provided in the Fire and Police Commissioners Act. Proof of birth date will be required at the time of application.
Applicants must be citizens of the United States or provide proof of intention to become a citizen
As a condition of employment: Applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline or an Associate Degree in Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice from an accredited College or University.
Applicants must submit proof that they have passed the Illinois Peace Officer Wellness Evaluation Report (POWER) Test dated between August 1, 2019 to August 1, 2020.
