LCV NORTHCOM: Ammunition Trades Helper

Job Summary

Under direct supervision and guidance, assists Specialists Ammunition Supply in managing ammunition inventories. May operate forklift, pallet jack or other such equipment to move ammunition supplies. Assists in receipt and check-in/check-out of inventory. Learns to operate the Standard Ammunition and Accounting System-Modernized (SAAS-MOD) computer hardware, software and manual records to perform stock control and accounting procedures for ammunition, explosives, and associated explosive components. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. In addition, must have or be able to obtain a NAC-I (government background check), ability to lift 50 lbs. with or without accommodation. Fork Lift Certification preferred.
