SAIC is looking for an Electrical Engineer Sr to support E2D project in Crane, IN.

  • Researches, designs, develops, modifies, evaluates and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment. 

  • Conducts experimental tests on equipment and evaluates results. 

  • Develops specifications for selecting components and equipment to use.   

  • May also review vendors' abilities to support development.

  • Monitor contractor engineering tasks and ensure timely completion.

  • Evaluate contractor Design and assess Risk for OFP, Diagnostic, MDL

  • Coordination and assessment of Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRLs)

  • Test Planning, Procedures, Reports

  • Contribute to Specification Development and confirm adequate flow of requirements and validation into the software design.

  • Includes Liaison for IDD development: NRL, SHEELD, SSA/HMI

  • Subordinate SDP, SRS, IDD, SVD, SUM, STP

  • Contribute to program protection engineering
  • Coordination of EA/ES Simulations including RF Environment, Operator-in-the-Loop (OITL) Simulation, HW in-the-Loop, Weapon System Trainer (WST)

  • Coordinate and contribute Technical content of acquisition products

  • ECPs, SOWs,  and Proposal Evaluation

  • Evaluate Trade Study results against goals

  • Coordinate resolution of issues



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and five (5) or more years of related experience; Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and three (3) years of related experience.
  • Four (4) years’ experience in the military (preferred). Would accept 2-3 years military experience. Experience can be from any branch of the military.
  • Must be able to obtain a Full DOD Secret Security Clearance.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen.
  • Excellent communication skills; inter-personal; organizational and detail-oriented.
  • Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 
  • Demonstrated track record of adhering to tight schedules with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
