Job Title: Agile Scrum Master

Job Location: Tampa, FL

Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued Current Secret Clearance

Job Responsibilities:
Trace Systems is actively recruiting for an Agile Scrum Master to join our team based on-site in Tampa, FL.

Duties and responsibilities to include:

Be part of an engineering team building DOD systems using advanced NSX/ESXi networking functionalities such as virtual or distributed switches, network emulation devices, network overlay technologies, and NIC offload capabilities
Understand, decompose and implement test plan, automation, and validation procedures based on stated product features and skillsets
Helps create test plans to meet project requirements for assigned components.
History of balancing competing priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting a deadline
Master of Agile and Scrum processes and procedures
Work in a collaborated environment to achieve original and anticipated features and functionality of programs to be developed
Be resourceful, curious, and driven. Push the envelope in adopting new technologies, best design practices to ensure DOD has the best possible systems. Outside the box thinking.
Work in a dynamic/agile development environment and be adaptable to changing requirements
Advise senior government staff on industry best practices and provide policy recommendations to implement those practices
Ability to devlep and maintain Agile and process documents, procedures, TTP, SOPs, etc.
Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
Helping the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction
Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization
Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments
Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework
Resolve conflicts and issues that occur
Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
Support the product owner and provide education where needed
Define and implement Document Management & version control processes (check-out/check-in, merge, build, re-lease, etc.)
Ability to design technical release templates and to draft release notes in support of release process
Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Position requires a minimum of 15 years of general experience of which 12 years is directly related experience
Prior experience on a Scrum team
Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict
Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum
Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not
Experience with successful Agile techniques
Ability to work with and lead a team
Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
Ability to adapt to a changing environment
Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
Current DoD 8570 IAT Level certification
Active, in-scope US Government issued Current Secret Clearance

Due to the nature of the work and US Government required, US Citizenship is required.

Advanced Microsoft Certifications (MCSE)
VMware Certifications
CISCO Certifications
Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Network Engineering, Math) OR at least 15 years of general experience of which 12 years is directly related experience
