Sr. Specialist- Logistics Administration

The Sr. Logistics Administrator will provide logistics support for MLRS family of launchers, munitions, and hardware. Provide on-site support for: maintenance, total package fielding; modifications and related issues/requirements/schedules; logistics agreements/briefings with the users; development and analysis of kits and hardware. Develop/analyze: supply, maintenance, engineering, and configuration data. Assist in equipment/hardware accountability. Support PMO briefings, fielding activities, and special taskers. Will analyze and provide: recommendations for fielding and modifications activities; engineering, supply, maintenance, and logistics documents preparation; logistics support during all phases of the system life cycle in garrison and deployments.

  • The job requires heavy travel to user locations. Approximately 50 percent outside work.
  • Computer skills required: email and Microsoft Office products with a concentration in Excel.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet the minimum requirements for access to classified information.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS : HS Diploma and 6-12 years or BS Degree and 2-8 years of relevant experience required. Requires an active Secret Security Clearance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Experience in Army logistics and operations and/or fielding and modification of Army Weapon Systems preferably HIMARS and MLRS systems and hardware.

PERFERENCES: Five years experience with MLRS and/or HIMARS and ten years of Army Major Weapon experience.
