LCIV Poland IJP: HR Generalist – Immigration/Visa Processing EUCOM
Specific Job Responsibility: The HR Generalist will oversee and assist with the day-to-day operations of the HR Visa function in support of TO 10. Position will be located in Poland and ensure visa requirements are tracked and any visa issues are identified and worked to resolution.
Candidate must have experience in multi-country visa processing and maintain up-to-date information visa requirements for all TO10 countries of operation. Candidate will utilize IHR and Legal when required to facilitate visa processing.
HR Responsibilities will include processing employee actions (benefits, payroll, leaves, etc.) with a specific focus on:
Work with TO Manager/HR Supervisor to facilitate Task Order TDY Exercise Staffing
Review BOE and assist in identification of required staffing and approvals
Identify visa requirements if any and coordinate with and HR Supervisor/IHR/Program Legal
Work with IHR to provide required documents for TDY visa support
Coordinate with other TO’s Ops and HR for mobilization and demobilization of TDY support.
A bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or organizational development preferred. 5+ years successful generalist experience required. Prior responsibility for the effective processing of work/immigration visas required.
Communication skills: good listening, speaking, presentation and writing skills.
Demonstrated success in working with various levels of management to impact HR success HRIS proficient – SAP, Workday, etc.
Organizational skills: must be able to easily access and store many types of information on a daily basis.
Confidentiality: handles confidential and sensitive information that must not be shared with others.
Skilled in all Microsoft Office programs
Must possess a valid driver’s license and ability to drive in Europe
