SAIC has an immediate opening for top talent to join our team as a Government Cloud Computing Security Expert supporting an integrated collaboration environment solution. "This is a remote position."


This opportunity offers remote, virtual or work from home opportunities, working as part of a virtual team. While no clearance is required, SCI-eligible or current SCI access with CI Poly is desirable.


Job duties include the following: 

  • Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment in a program that develops and administers cloud virtual collaboration environment
  • Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company and contract operations
  • Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
  • Coordinate security approvals from cognizant government agencies for projects.
  • Prepare manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.
  • Conduct security education classes and security audits
  • Investigate security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. 
  • Serve as liaison between project management and project team, along with the line management for a cloud-based virtual integrated collaboration environment for a US Government customer. 
  • Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports. 
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. 
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. 


TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and two (2) years or more experience.
