Job Summary

AECOM is seeking an Environmental Engineer / Human Health Risk Assessor. This opportunity will be a telecommute position reporting from the areas of Baton Rouge, Shreveport or Plaquemine LA to provide environmental engineering consulting services for petrochemical clients. Ideally the candidate will evaluate subsurface investigation soil and groundwater analytical testing data. This role will develop human health risk assessments for submittal to environmental regulatory agencies. The right candidate will serve as team subject matter expert for human health risk assessments and environmental regulatory agency risk assessment program requirements.

  • Serves as lead engineer on mid- to large size projects.

  • Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.

  • Approves and signs off on work.

  • Provides technical expertise for studies and design efforts.

  • Presents complex technical solutions to clients.

  • Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others.

  • Participates in development of technical proposals.

  • Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects.

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + 8 Years of Experience OR AA/AS (US) + 10 Years of Experience or Diploma/Certificate
