Cybersecurity/Software Engineer

Join our dynamic team of talented and forward leaning engineers in supporting cybersecurity operations to meet US Air Force requirements.

About the Role : You will help distinguish our company with professionalism, best practices and deliverables that build customer loyalty. Among the responsibilities of the role are:

  • Support cybersecurity of Air Force applications within the continuous development environment
  • Support ongoing sprints, working alongside application and infrastructure teams
  • Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments
  • Perform key cybersecurity analyses and use technical risk management principles to assess applications and systems
  • Review documentation to ensure that established security requirements are adequately addressed and sustained
  • Perform other duties as assigned

About You : The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • BS / BA in computer science and 5 years of directly related experience
  • Knowledge and experience with software applications , agile development , and continuous development
  • Experience with one or more of the following is desired:
  • virtual machines
  • cloud (AWS, Azure)
  • containers (Kubernetes)
  • DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level I (Security +) certification is desired; IAM Level II (CISSP) certification is preferred
  • Familiarity with DoDIs 8500.01 & 8510.01, NIST SP 800-53, and RMF is desired
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance is not required at hire, but must be obtained and maintained. U.S. Citizenship is required.
