Job Description

Coordinates and monitors highly sensitive aspects of the DOD, DOE, or other industrial security program and other security activities, ensuring compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. Protects classified government information and publishes security awareness for all cleared corporate personnel. Conducts highly sensitive security briefings. Coordinates all security education programs. Acts as primary liaison with upper management and outside agencies. May provide work Leadership for lower level employees.

The NIS Division provides mission solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations. Our customers have high standards, are technically adept, and use our products daily to support their mission of protecting national security. Our contributions to our customers success is driving our growth.

The selected individual will be representing group on incident response and coordination with Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in response to Information Assurance concerns.


Additional Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Review and analyze systems architecture diagrams and networks
  • Assess security system needs and provide corrective actions into a coherent security strategy Develop and maintain A&A packages and information systems based on our customers policy and guidance
  • Facilitate development, maintenance, and provide security guidance in all phases of the system accreditation process and/or Risk Management Framework.
  • Perform Information Assurance testing by conducting monthly/quarterly/annual reviews
  • Research and identify security vulnerabilities and provide guidance to mitigate risks to information systems undergoing the A&A process
  • Perform data spill investigation and eradication
  • Conduct knowledge and security focused comprehensive solutions to technically complex systems and challenges
  • Assist with data transfer operations on multiple computer systems, monitoring operational computer networks
