Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Staff Officer to join our team in Arlington, Virginia.

Staff Officers provide general or specialized administrative support. They schedule and coordinate meetings, calendars, and events; research and analyze information and data to prepare reports, presentations, and papers; and maintain office supplies, and coordinate office moves.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide direct operations and administrative support to senior leaders at the Pentagon, including scheduling and liaison with Pentagon seniors’ staffs and the staffs of senior leaders at NCE, NCW, and remote sites.
  • Assist in the provision of Pentagon-unique services such as coordination of visitor parking and escorting VIP visitors.
  • Support video teleconferencing requirements and data transfer requests in coordination, as necessary, with Enterprise services.
  • Support research and ad hoc projects using electronic files stored on shared drives and databases on classified and unclassified systems. These files and databases are primarily accessed via Microsoft Windows or SharePoint, and in formats compatible with Microsoft Office or Adobe Acrobat.
  • Support creation of visual aids (charts, graphs, etc.) using Microsoft Office or basic visualization applications – such as Google Maps or Map of the World - to support Pentagon partners.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of office/administrative experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience within related field
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and SharePoint (Adobe Acrobat is a plus!)
  • Ability to brief senior staff officers to affect decisions
  • Work cooperatively as a team member to build effective customer relationships
  • Ability to work independently with minimal or no oversight

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI

Physical Requirements:

  • Have the ability to remain in a stationary position 50%
