Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer- oriented TRADOC Terrain Modeler, Journeyman to join our team in Fort Eustis, Virginia.

The U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) G?2 supports TRADOC in its mission to ensure the U.S. Army can deter, fight, and win on any battlefield by providing premier training and guidance on the Operational Environment (OE) and multi-domain threats.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop correlated Terrain for LVC-G environments and products between OneSAF and VBS3
  • Collect, refine and convert GIS information for use in terrain development
  • Collaborate with Modeling/Simulation, Gaming and application developers to provide correlated geographic terrain, features and entities for operating environments
  • Develop terrain databases using the following formats or engine specifications Evaluate the adequacy of existing data sources, creation/modification of terrain databases and provide basic geospatial analysis

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts
  • 4 years of relevant experience
  • OneSAF Terrain Format (OTF), Bohemia Interactive (VBS3), Epic (Unreal), Unity Game Engine, and Open FlighStrong personal
  • Ability to resolve performance, cost and schedule problems
  • Demonstrated ability to track and resolve performance, cost and schedule problems quickly

Preferred Qualifications:

  • TRADOC experience

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • DOD Secret Clearance Required

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
