Job Summary
The AECOM Traffic Department is actively seeking a creative, self-driven, highly talented Traffic Engineering Manager for employment in the Orlando office. As a manager in the Traffic group, you will oversee managing and mentor junior engineers, responsible for marketing, business development, and project management.
Lead and manage engineering projects, staff, and business development activities in the area of traffic engineering and design
Serve as client contact for greater Florida clients in traffic engineer projects
Participate in strategic planning efforts to expand the transportation engineering practice and organize and lead team members in the execution of the strategic plan
Provide leadership in the successful delivery of transportation planning projects, including schedule, quality and within budget performance
Lead and support staff through staff development, mentoring, coaching, performance evaluations, and recruitment.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Civil or Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
10 plus years of related experience in or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
10 years of traffic signal design and traffic operations.
Experience in staff management and project management
Experience in marketing, proposal development, and client management
Valid driver's license required
