LCIV Germany: Logistics Coordinator

Reports to and receives assignments and direction from MST Manager. Logistic Coordinator, organizes and coordinates all logistics activities associated with field maintenance department. Coordinates with interfaces between logistics functions such as field maintenance, SSA /FITIP and warehousing to ensure efficient, timely, and cost effective support to the customer. Coordinates with customers to ensure desired logistics objectives, priorities, and schedules are met and communicated properly. This position requires technical expertise in automated logistical systems such as: GCSS-A, LIW and other maintenance management systems. This position coordinates acquisition, transfer / delivery, retirement and final disposition of assigned equipment through the property office and the GPA (Government Property Administrator) office. This position is responsible for maintaining records of services performed, ordering, and managing repair parts dispatching vehicles and equipment and maintaining operator licensing records. Additional duties include maintaining stock records, inventory records, material control, accounting, and supply reports. Logistics Coordinator will ensure that processes and measures are met to ensure the accuracy of the data input, ensures efforts are directed towards process improvements, enforces procedures and policies and maintains compliance with army regulations and KBR contractual requirements. The Logistics Coordinator ensures that all shop tools and equipment are organized and secured and in compliance with TMDE requirements and with guidelines provided in PCP and field maintenance work instruction (WI). Promotes safety and quality and complies with all applicable safety and quality procedures and regulations. The Senior Logistics Coordinator must complete the proper paperwork as assigned in a timely manner. Submits to both written and or verbal maintenance status reports as required. Ensures total customer service while complying with contract and PWS requirements.

Additional requirements:

Technical Proficiency: In the GCSS-A system and LIW. Must possess a valid passport with at least 12 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining. Must possess a home country valid driver’s license. Requires NAC-I

Preferred qualifications and skill:

  • Candidates with prior Military and or LOGCAP experience in working with military equipment and environment.
  • Candidates with prior military MOS 92A.
  • Candidates with technical proficiency; In the Standard Army Management Information System SAMS-E.
  • Candidates with knowledge of US military regulations and OEM requirements, including OSHA, ANSI regulations standards.
