SAIC has a contingent opportunity for a Property Manager to support an Army customer in Kuwait. This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located in Kuwait.
Appointed by the PM as Contractor Property Administrator of the GFP. Responsible for establishing and providing accountability of and tracking for all GFP Ensures periodic maintenance, servicing and repair of GFE is accomplished in accordance with appropriate technical manuals and regulations. Oversees CAP/CAS section ensuring that all purchases of GFE are made in accordance with the appropriate FAR segment Develops and implements process performance metrics to accurately measure performance against Army, SAIC and/or contract standards; Prepares, analyzes and briefs reports as required. Recommends solutions to problems indicated by analysis of trend indicators, or those identified by management or the customer. Maintains an accurate material and equipment inventory in the OMDAC-SWACA theater of operations, prepare and monitor material purchases, process material for disposal through DRMO, provide supply support for multiple locations, and participate in process improvement activities as the pertain to logistics processes. Through analysis of parts demand trend data the candidate will identify and supervise the packaging, handling, shipping and transportation of materials and supplies to CONUS and OCONUS operating bases and coordinate shipping of sensitive ITAR controlled weapons systems and supplies with various government agencies to ensure the timely and efficient delivery and continuity of support operations across the program. Must be comfortable in a highly dynamic and fluid environment and be able to independently develop and execute logistics plans based of solid analysis of logistics data provided from multiple sources across the entire value chain (OEM to consumer).Conduct subcontracting oversight activities for subcontractors. Desired skillset includes knowledge of property management software such as Asset Smart.
BS/BA, 6+ years related experience. Additional four years of experience in lieu of degree.
Must have served in positions of increasing responsibility encompassing planning and supervisory experience.
Extensive interaction with the customer required.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: MCTS: Managing projects with Microsoft Office project 2007
REQUIRED IT LEVEL/8570 CERT: IT III/GENERAL USER
DESIRED CERTIFICATION: ITIL
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Must have an active SECRET clearance.
