SAIC is seeking an exceptional individual to support the Air Force's next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) weapon system acquisition. Our customer is the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Program Office located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. 


The GNC Engineer has the following responsibilities in developing tools for system analysis:

  • Break long term objectives down into short term tasking items
  • Consolidate input from Users, Management, and SME's to develop and prioritize requirements and features
  • Develop and maintain project schedule
  • Interface with customer about project status
  • Prepare and maintain documentation


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and 9+ years of experience in systems or software engineering or a Master's degree and 7+ years of experience in similar fields
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Experience developing software in an agile environment
  • Jira or similar agile tasking software, Git (Bitbucket, gitlab, etc), or similar CM software
  • Matlab, Object Oriented Design (C++, Python, Java or MATLAB), Microsoft office
  • Kalman filter/covariance analysis/optimal state estimation and IMU modeling and analysis
