SAIC is pursuing a ground-breaking opportunity in support of the U.S. Space Development Agency’s (SDA) acceleration in development and fielding of new military space capabilities. SAIC is looking for motivated, innovative, career and customer-oriented individuals to join our team in support of this space effort and provide SDA with architecture concepts, systems, technologies, and capabilities that enable futuristic improvements for U.S. space based capabilities. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness with the ability to apply and/or develop highly advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts in support of the SDA’s mission.
Participates in the planning, tracking analysis, and reporting on projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk. Responsibilities may include: implementation of financial policies and procedures in support of projects; establishment and maintenance of cost/schedule baselines; development of WBS and related dictionaries, schedules or Resource Loaded Networks (RLN's) and budgets; implementation of Earned Value methodologies and performs related variance analyses; and preparation of written and verbal reports to management regarding cost schedule variances. Complete understanding and wide application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Full knowledge of industry practices. Performs assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives. Work is reviewed by management to measure meeting objectives. Administers company policies that directly affect employees. Recommends changes to team policies. Additional responsibilities may include:

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience
