A Trainee works toward gaining skills to move up to a Semi-skilled Position. Semi-skilled workers perform tasks specific to manufacturing foods.
Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following
Placing containers on the production line
Operation of the depalletizer
Veggie or Fruit Prep
Sugar Cutter
Nut Dumper
Drum prep
Participates in Lean Manufacturing activities (5S, Autonomous Maintenance, Sanitation tasks)

Position Qualifications
Must have earned a High School diploma or proof of GED
Must successfully pass a drug screen
Must successfully pass a background check
Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position which may include weekends
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and the safety regulations
Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. These include:
Constant Standing, walking, lifting
Frequent Bending, Stooping, Squatting, Pushing, Pulling
Occasional Ladder climbing
Periodic lifting of up to 80 lbs
Must be able to perform all job functions safely
Must understand and adhere to the “Good Manufacturing Procedures”
Must become proficient in semi-skilled tasks and meet the company performance standards
