Operational Air and Missile Defense Subject Matter Expert

Candidate will provide comprehensive subject matter expertise support to the KBR Engineering Business Unit, Space, Missile and Aviation Systems Division. Agencies supported will include Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA), Army Program Executive Office for Missiles and Space, Army Futures Command and Space Command. Subject matter expertise will provide operational perspectives, including requirements management; military utility assessments; threat assessments; DOTMLPF analysis; concepts of operation and operational concepts development, for materiel development of Air and Missile Defense, Integrated Fires, and Hypersonic capabilities. Candidate will also serve as a KBR Senior Executive Advisor for strategic business development pursuits for Missile Defense Agency, HQDA, PEO Missiles and Space, Army Futures Command, Space Command, Army Fires and appropriate subordinate commands and elements. Candidate will develop strategic visions, plans and set objectives for new and existing government customers and modernization initiatives. Candidate will also serve as a liaison with peers on cross-business unit opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

Active/current Top-Secret security clearance is required

Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 25+ years of experience supporting DoD and Air & Missile Defense Programs

Expertise in Joint Integrated Army Air and Missile Defense operations from strategic to tactical levels with extensive operational deployment experience

Experience in developing and briefing strategic plans and studies/analysis products to DoD, MDA, Joint and Army Senior Leadership

Job location is Huntsville, AL with periodic travel potentially to Houston, TX; Washington, DC; Colorado Springs, CO; Austin, TX; Lawton, OK and other locations as required.
