Automotive Service Writer Adviser Job Description:
Initiate automotive services and repairs by ascertaining performance problems and services requested; developing estimates; entering repair orders into the EMR system Epicor; maintaining customer reports and records. Obtain customer approvals. Coordinate with our Sales and Logistics team for pick up / return of vehicles.

Ascertain vehicle problems and services by listening to customers description of issues; clarifying description of problems; conducting inspections; examining service schedules
Develop estimates by labor and material repairs into the EMR system
Prepares repair orders that include- description of problems; the resolution to the problem; overview of repair and service required to fix the issue; entering repair orders into our EMR system.
Maintain automotive records by recording problems and corrective action
Contact customers to coordinate service, pick up/ drop off the customers vehicles

Automotive Service Writer Adviser Skills and Qualifications:
EMS, Fire and Specialty Vehicle Experience, Epicor EMR a PLUS, Exceptional Customer Service, Problem Solving, Estimating, Quality Focus, Safety Management, Logistics, Scheduling

Quality Control & Warranty Inspector Job Description:

A Quality Control Inspector and Warranty Supervisor is needed, the ideal candidate will be a strong eye- on inspector and a evaluate all processes with commercial truck and/ or related body manufacturing, service, and/ or up- fit experience. Candidates who have a strong background in body and collision repair, auto parts, service writing, and/ or automotive manufacturing background are a plus.
Conduct in- process and finished goods inspections for specialty vehicles (new, remounted, refurbished, repaired) including electrical, cosmetic (paint, graphics, glass) as well as structural and functional elements of the vehicle.
Verify that the finished product meets the internal build order/ customer requirements
Evaluate warranty claims, gain approvals for warranty issues from outside vendors
Ensure engineering and manufacturing teams address any in line or in field failures forward to prevent re occurrence of issue
Work as needed with component suppliers to resolve defects or lack of quality in supplied items
Accompany customers, outside dealers on inspection visits
Documents elements of work with writing and photographs

Experience/ Attributes:
Related experience to the job description
Highly observant/ attention to detail
Knowledge of ambulance and fire vehicles
