Functional Responsibilities:

Provide analysis supporting the prioritization, synchronization, and integration of Army Mission Command equities across Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) Staff elements to include tactical networks and Information Technology Portfolios. Provides support and analysis on Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) equities. As required, provides support in formal military task management using Army data systems to manage task support and accomplishment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Include strategic planning and provision of work products supporting Army strategic efforts to include the Army Campaign Plan and other strategy-level documents and processes.

Reviews and analyzes operational impacts of requirements/capabilities development, resourcing, testing, and acquisition.

Attends meetings and workgroups, develops and presents briefings; to include formal written products appropriate to Army Senior Leadership (CEO/COO) levels as required.

Provides support within the JADC2 context for the above-described functions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

The candidate must have a working knowledge and experience in Army and Joint Capabilities Integrated Development Systems (JCIDS) / requirements approval process, Army resourcing processes (Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE), and Department/Army acquisition processes especially as these processes apply to the Mission Command (Command and Control) and Networked / Information Technology Systems and portfolios such as but not limited:

* Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2)
* The Army Campaign Plan (ACP)
* Management of Army taskings using the Task Management Tool (TMT)
* Army strategic processes and development

Demonstrated managerial abilities to include simultaneous management of multiple complex tasks and activities.

Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions to complex issues and understanding of Army organization, doctrine, Joint doctrine and OSD processes.

Demonstrated ability to prepare and brief statistical data, prepare reports and command level correspondence, and present briefings to General Officers.

Minimum Education/Training/Certification/Clearances.

At least two years of Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) experience

Master's Degree or other equivalent degree program (or a bachelor's degree and additional 4 years' progressive functional experience).

Command and General Staff College/War College/School of Advanced Military Studies graduates, and advanced degrees are desirable.

Requires a Secret clearance.

Minimum/General Experience: 8 years progressive experience in how the Army operates to include operational and generating force activates at the Army staff, Major Army Command (MACOM) and tactical levels. Applicable functional areas include Resource analysis, systems engineering, acquisition management, test and evaluation, and program management support.
