Program Analyst - Journeyman
This position provides support services for program management, acquisition, engineering, integration and sustainment planning to the F/A-18 A/F and the EA-18G Program in Lexington Park, MD. This position will provide program analysis and interpretation of technical data to Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). The successful candidate will participate in meetings and collect, complete, organize, and interpret technical data.
Specific tasking will include but it not limited to: Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapons/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
In addition, the candidate must exhibit well-developed verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills; analytical skills; attention to detail; organizational skills; ability to assess, apply, and recommend improvements to established business processes; and have the ability to balance priorities in order to work effectively in the fast-paced program office environment. The selected candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Project & Outlook).
P REFERRED SKILLS: General knowledge of NAVAIR policies, procedures, terminology and requirements. An active SECRET clearance is required.
Three (3) to ten (10) years of experience performing duties as described above.
Two (2) years of experience supporting NAVAIR.
ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Associate’s degree plus two (2) years additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree. OR
Four (4) years additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
