SAIC has an exciting new opportunity for a Reliability/Availability/Maintainability (RAM) Engineer for the U.S. Army Evaluation Center (AEC) Support Services (AECSS) supporting Readiness and Analytics and Training and Professional Development (RAD).

This position is located at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD. This job may be temporarily remote due to COVID-19.

This position is contingent upon award of contract.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • Performs routine work requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks.
  • Provides professional engineering support with increasing independent accomplishment. Assignments are screened for unusual or difficult problems; receives close supervision on new aspects of assignments.

  • Performs specific and limited engineering tasks of a broader assignment, under the direction of an experienced engineer; prepares computations, specifications, and reports of limited scope and complexity; applies standard practices and techniques in specific situations; and may be assisted by a few support person



  • Active Secret clearance is required at a minimum, and must be willing to obtain a TS/SCI
  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering specialization or related discipline
  • Ten (10) years applicable experience primarily in RAM modeling, test design techniques, design for reliability techniques, predictions, reliability growth management, requirements generation, software and specification inputs is required.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of DoD RAM Regulations required.
