Electrical Engineer

Provides Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS) engineering and acquisition support. Participates in LTAMDS development and modification design meetings and reviews to ensure proper operation and USG contract conformance. Performs detailed engineering design reviews for new or modified radar hardware and software in support of requirements verification. Reviews or develops technical plans for software validations and demonstrations for USG acceptance. Supports efforts related to Modelling and Simulation, Software, and radar testing activities. Performs failure analysis of radar systems for design deficiencies. Provides technical support to the configuration management process by evaluating and assessing the impact of LTAMDS system Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) for their impact on LTAMDS and other ancillary equipment . Observes and analyzes software integration functions within the Government Software Integration Lab and assesses results for compliance with LTAMDS requirements.

B.S in Engineering or Science; a Master degree in Engineering preferred. A minimum of 15 years of experience. Specific experience in radar systems preferred.

An active secret security clearance is required.
