Role and Responsibilities

Requirements

KBR is currently seeking a Journeyman Systems Analyst for the JTDI Deployed Applications Team with knowledge of JDMS software. The Journeyman Systems Analyst must be customer focused in support of our NAVAL warfighter mission and have a broad technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 Operating System (OS), IIS, Java and .NET based applications, and CANES shipboard network (LANS) with knowledge of TCP/IP infrastructure. The candidate will be part of a team responsible for the integration, configuration, test, deployment, and sustainment of the NAVAIR Joint Technical Data Integration (JTDI) Delivery Management Service (JDMS) product currently deployed at over 300 sites, camps, stations, shore, and ships at CONUS and OCONUS locations worldwide.

The Journeyman Systems Analyst will maintain deployed JDMS software components to include JDUpdate, JDReceive, and Microsoft IIS. Daily tasks may include installing, upgrading, troubleshooting, AStats monitoring JDMS software, and Information Assurance (IA) support to maintain the deployed JDMS IA compliance.

Systems Engineer Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide daily status updates to contractor team lead
  • Provide inputs to Deployed Applications contractor team for Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) submission
  • Provide feedback and make recommendations for future upgrades and configuration changes
  • Review existing and new Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs) to maintain IA compliance
  • Maintain STIG baseline for production instances of JDMS, Java, .NET, and IIS
  • Troubleshoot problems reported by JDMS sites and analyze and isolate issues
  • Monitor Splunk/AStats log analysis system to track system performance and health
  • Evaluate and modify application performance setting to meet business needs
  • Leverage Service Desk ticketing system track and document completed tasks
  • Support IA team Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) requests and responseSystem Administrator Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences, Technology, degree with 8 to 10 years relevant experience
  • Specific experience with Microsoft Operating Systems 2012 R2 and 2016
  • Specific experience with IIS 7.5 or greater
  • Experience with a variety of LAN switches and TCP/IP networking
  • Current Security + certification
  • Current Operating System (OS) certification
  • Secret clearance with SSBI or Top Secret Clearance (preferred)
