Oracle EPM Planning Administrator

Job Description:

The position is responsible will support the design, build, and testing of KBR’s new Oracle EPM Cloud EPBCS applications. Post-Go-Live the position is responsible for administrative support and maintenance of KBR’s Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications. The individual will administer forecast and budget processing in the Oracle EPM Cloud EPBCS applications, maintain forecast and budget reports, perform application testing, and maintain process documentation. Activities performed during the forecasting/budgeting processes include updating web forms, prepping the system for user input, updating metadata on an ongoing basis, and providing end-user support. The position requires collaboration with the FCCS team to support efficient data movement between systems. The individual will be responsible for the application of functional support from problem diagnosis and analysis through problem resolution.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS in Accounting or Information Systems; MBA or CPA a plus
  • At least 7+ years experience EPBCS / PBCS / Hyperion Planning / Essbase in both development and administration roles
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance


  • Extensive knowledge of the financial process and functional processes
  • Knowledge of EPBCS / Hyperion Planning (web forms, calc manager, and security)
  • Advanced knowledge of Essbase (BSO / ASO cube design, load Rules, calculation scripts, partitioning, and Maxl Scripts)
  • Knowledge of EAL (SQL a plus)
  • Strong Excel / Smart View analytical skills
  • Experience in FCCS / HFM / EDM / FDM / FDMEE, DRM a plus
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet changing deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems, accounting, and business processes
  • Ability to work independently and also as a team member in a high-energy environment and keep management adequately informed
  • Possess self-motivation and a proven record of managing time and work
  • Desire to partner with the team to create and improve methodologies
