Title:

Shift Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assign tasks to staff members.
  • Supervise staff to ensure tasks are completed per production schedule.
  • Ensure staff follows all safety requirements related to their positions.
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching/training where necessary.
  • Resolve workplace disputes / issues.
  • Track daily production line totals and create daily reports for manager.
  • Position is guided by Operations Department and program objectives.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of department/company initiatives.
  • Assists with resolving unique problems that are complex in nature.
  • Frequent customer interaction.
  • Notifies operations management of production line problems.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

  • Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 2+ years of experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience working in manufacturing in a managerial role.
  • Natural leadership abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Computer literacy skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve.
  • Ability to multitask.
