Sr. IT Database AdministratorWill manage database utilities and monitor relationship between users and applications. Applies understanding of relational databases concepts and query languages to design summary and aggregate tables which support analysis. Monitors, analyzes and resolves issues related to information flow and data architecture standards. Other responsibilities include development and implementation of standards, data modeling and space usage requirements. Under general supervision, solves complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices. Uses experience and problem solving skills to develop and improve processes. May provide guidance to less experienced team members. Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 5+ years of experience.
