Amentum is searching for a Technical Writer to support Army programs in Aberdeen Maryland.

Develops and maintains Army Training Management Learning Products using the US Army Training Development Capability (TDC) employing Army Learning regulations, policy, and systems with emphasis on the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) process.
The Writer shall develop government owned training, provide classroom support, training material validation, and provide effective training IAW established programs of instruction (POI), the Master Training Plan (MTP), Army Learning Concept, training standards, and the requirements and deliverables of this acquisition. Specific duties include:
Develop training and training products IAW the Analysis Design Develop Implement and Evaluate (ADDIE) process, Army Learning Model (ALM) Principles, and all applicable regulations and SOPs (i. e. TRADOC REG 350-70 and all appendixes).
Utilize the ADDIE process when developing solutions for online or classroom learning.
Perform training development for the Cyber School and maintain certifications in accordance with applicable regulations, and CCoE certification & evaluation criteria.
Define, design, and develop course material and accompanying instructor materials including gather and analyze existing course content and recommend changes based on type of instruction needed. Design instructional materials and programs and recommend delivery strategies by accessing customer training needs.
Write, edit, review, plan, prioritize, organize, and coordinate tasks.
Work in a collaborative environment; work with other institutions, or agencies Government, DoD, Industry to identify and implement new information applicable to specific courses (or lessons), as determined by the Government.
Attend workshops, present at conferences, or assess training events as required.
Produce instructional materials for common tasks and validates materials as well as other training products to determine adequacy.
Periodically review training materials such as student handouts, lesson plans, and practical exercises for accuracy and adequacy.
Record information regarding modification requirements gleaned from attendance at local meetings and conferences.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
