Description

SAIC is seeking an exceptional individual to support the Air Force's next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) weapon system acquisition. Our customer is the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Program Office located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. This will be a long-term project with the weapon system anticipated to remain operational until 2075. This is a massive development effort with many opportunities. We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with a willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity to work on some of the most exciting and challenging development and acquisition efforts in the DoD with a great company.

  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide Systems Engineering support to the USAF in development GBSD Weapon System
  • Preform requirements traceability and requirements analysis
  • Review and evaluate design requirements and interface control documents
  • Correlate design requirements to verification methods and activities
  • Create and review requirement verification plan


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • At least 5+ years of progressive experience in systems engineering and requirements development, analysis, and verification
  • Solid understanding of requirements traceability, flow down, and verification
  • Demonstrated self-discipline to plan and prioritize their own work
 Preferred Skills and Education:
  • Master’s Degree with 3+ years of related experience
  • INCOSE CSEP or ESEP professional certification
  • Familiarity with DOORS
  • Familiarity with Cameo or Rhapsody
  • Familiarity with SysML
