Job Responsibilities:
Trace Systems is seeking an innovative and highly driven individual to join our growing MPE-S team as an Technical Project Manager*. This role is part of a dynamic, multi-disciplined team responsible for providing professional management and delivery of technology related projects across various functional areas within the MPE-S Program. As an Technical Project Manager, the aspiring candidate will be responsible for managing scope, cost, schedule, risk, and deliverables associated to a specified project within the MPE-S program. They will collaborate with the team and government stakeholders to manage milestones and drive results in a matrix environment. This position requires a background in managing projects related to networks and/or critical infrastructure within government or military environments.

Duties include:

Manage medium to large network and/or critical infrastructure projects supporting large program environments within the DOD community
Serve as the primary point of contact responsible for the day to day coordination of all work activities related to your project of record
Establish and maintain a project portfolio aligned to the contractual requirements
Develop and consistently report project timelines, risks, constraints, cost, schedule and performance targets of multiple efforts with matrixed resources and 'agile' priorities
Assist Government representatives in managing IT programs and projects from solution engineering to program planning, requirements definition, system design, development, deployment, security accreditation, and operations and maintenance.
Manage and Maintain a Risk Tracker associated to your project
Actively engage team members and government stakeholders and sustain working relationships to obtain insight into project focal point and drive project efforts
Ensure Contractor performance under the contract is in compliance with the terms and conditions of the performance of work statement aligned to your specific area
Coordinate requisite contract actions, modifications, quotes for project efforts
Manage all documentation and process deliverables related to the project such as SOW, WBS, Project Scope Statement, Project Government Plan, Project Charter, etc.
Maintain a working knowledge of overall program objectives, as well as the role and function of each project team member
Attend all customer meetings and capture meeting notes
Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
An active, in-scope Secret with the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI Eligibility
A minimum of five years of direct experience in the last fifteen years supporting IT projects and initiatives as a project planner, manager, or comparable position
Strong proficiency developing & presenting custom project reports, dashboards, metrics, visualization of concepts & processes using MS Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Experience managing systems, network engineering, IT systems implementations or IT functions in a federal government or multinational environment.
Experience with the forecasting, planning, and resourcing technical projects with responsibility to deliver within cost, schedule and performance
A minimum of one years' experience supporting DOD NIPR, SIPR and/or Coalition (CENTRIXS, BICES) networks or related experience
Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with change and configuration management specifically audits, status accountability, and reviews
Experience in generating or assisting with the development of Program plans, processes, and procedures
ITSM appliances, such as Remedy or ServiceNow
Experience with the forecasting, planning, and resourcing technical projects with responsibility to deliver within cost, schedule and performance
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
ITIL-Foundations Certification (Desired)
Advance ITIL Certifications (Desired)
CompTIA Security+ Certification (Desired)
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Business, Electrical Engineering, Finance). Certification as Project Management Professional (PMP), or as Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level II in Program Management is desirable but not mandatory.
