Service Desk Administrators will use a Jira ticketing system to respond to customer technical issues with the CMP system, and either remedy the issue remotely, or escalate to a Tier 2 technician. Service Desk Administrators will be capable of providing
Service Desk Administrators will also receive new feature requests from the customer.
Service Desk Administrators will be available to provide 24/7 support coverage based on operational needs.
Network and Systems Administrators (a.k.a. ISS technicians) will provide on-site support to maintain operational CMP systems. System troubleshooting will occur, followed by fix-actions via configuration changes and/or scripts that can be applied to the operational system. The technician will follow up with developers to implement the forward-fix to incorporate in succeeding software releases. If it is determined that a fix requires a major code change to the baseline, the technician will interface with the appropriate dev team to implement the solution. This will also require collaboration with Release Train Engineer (RTE), and Product Owner (PO). This will require notification to the Configuration Management Manager for proper documentation.
ISS technicians will also support development teams (both internal and external to the CMP program) in onboarding tools and additional capabilities on the CMP system, to include regularly scheduled system installs of new releases.
ISS technicians will be prepared to surge based on operational needs.
