Job Summary

Reporting to the Controls & Monitoring Section Manager, the Reporting Engineer is responsible for the production of weekly, monthly and quarterly narrative and dashboard reports, accurately capturing the progress status, identifying trends and presenting to varied audiences and senior management.

The Reporting Engineer will work with all delivery and functional areas to structure report inputs in line with the required periodic reporting cycle to produce high quality reporting.

  • Ensures there are clear lines of communication and reporting with an emphasis on meeting deadlines and developing transparency in all operations.

  • Additional Job Description :

  • Source monthly progress updates from project delivery, engineering and discipline leads.

  • Develop and prepare Monthly Narrative Contract Progress reports.

  • Develop and prepare Monthly Contract Progress presentations.

  • Develop and prepare Quarterly Narrative Contract Progress Reports each calendar quarter.

  • Develop AMPS (ECMS) Contract Dashboards.

  • Work with the AMPS team to ensure functionality for Dashboards.

  • Attend weekly progress meetings, take accurate minutes and coordinate action close out with leads.

  • Develop and prepare weekly reporting on Contract hours, costs, budget, progress.

Minimum Requirements

  • Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner.

  • Proficiency in MS Office.

  • Knowledge of project processes and how each supports the successful completion of a project.

  • Ability to build relationships with team members that transcend a project.

  • Proficiency in project management and accounting software.

  • Proficiency in required construction technology.

  • Ability to assess and optimize project productivity.

  • Experience with the implementation and operation of ECMS as the single source of truth for project data.

  • Project management background in multi-discipline infrastructure projects, ensuring understanding of project lifecycle, engineering and management disciplines.

  • Ability to interact with engineering/construction team and senior management.

  • Good written, numerical analysis and reporting capability.

  • Broad experience across engineering, commercial, contracts, risk, value, safety, document control, project controls and reporting (including full understanding of earned value and KPIs).

  • Must work well under pressure and be a proactive team member

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/construction management or similar.

  • Minimum 5+ years construction/engineering experience.

  • Saudi Arabian nationality is preferred

  • Good verbal, written and presentation communications skills.
