Amentum is seeking a dedicated Deployed Operations Telecommunications Specialist supporting US Army INSCOM GISA - Pacific at Fort Shafter, Hawaii.

Essential Responsibilities:

Provide Operator support for Intelligence Communications Systems including JWICS Termination Suite, GATR/Ranger Satellite Terminal and other assigned assets including the TROJAN family of systems
Provide Systems Administration and Network Support to INSCOM GISA-P ISR requirements.
Utilize knowledge of Information Assurance and Information Management policies and procedures.
Provide technical services and innovative insight for future Army concepts, as well as communicating and expressing information needed to provide technical expertise to the customer.
Maintain job books and support documentation
Conduct periodic inventories
Set up/tear down equipment and provide training.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

    Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience)
    At least 2 years of satellite communications / network administration experience
    Must have either a Security+ or Network+ certification
    Knowledge of Microsoft Office application software and Windows desktop operating systems
    Working knowledge of Information Assurance and Information Management
    Position may require travel up to 50% of the time in support of military exercises.
    Due to the nature of the work, must be a U.S. citizen.
    Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

    Position also involves work typical of office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting up to 40 pounds, constant sitting with occasional use of computer terminal, and constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents.

Preferred Qualifications

    Current CISSP or PMP certification are a plus
    Knowledge of VmWare services and the networking of those services, whether introductory or advanced
    Working knowledge of Army enterprise computer systems and integrated software application programs
    Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Proven ability to perform detail-oriented work and balance, prioritize and organize multiple tasks.
