Electrical Estimator - Military veterans preferred

Amentum is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join our team and support our Government customer during the hours of 6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday. The position will be responsible for preparing man-hours and material cost estimates for the performance of operations, maintenance, repairs and renovations to commercial office buildings requiring the participation of single and multiple trades.

Primary responsibilities include estimating man-hours and material and convert to cost estimates. Will interface with customers, project managers, designers, and engineers.

Minimum 5 (five) years of hands-on electrical Journeyman level trade construction experience required with a sound working knowledge, skill, and ability to accomplish cost estimates for other trades, such as carpentry and mechanical.
General knowledge and use of computer-based programs such as Maximo, RS Means/Sage-Timberline, MS Excel and MS Word
Must be able to read and decipher blueprints/drawings and perform take-offs off of them
Must be able to meet light physical demands and lift up to 20 pounds, reach, pull, stoop and bend
High school diploma or equivalent or completion of an apprenticeship program in the electrical trade.
Must be a U.S Citizen.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
